The construction industry continues to boom in Toronto with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce indicating material increases in non-residential building permits and construction for the first time in four years in their 2016 Economic update. Torrent has grown right along with the industry and our 2X growth in the Ontario marketplace has necessitated the opening of a brand new operations facility. Our new, expanded presence will ensure that we stay on top of the accelerated market demand for pneumatically applied concrete (PAC) and form-free concrete.

Located at 5369 Maingate Drive in Mississauga, the new facility gives us the capacity to increase our service levels and value to our clients. With excellent proximity to Toronto construction sites, we’re now able to house and manage more high-pressure pumping equipment and trucks. As well, our in-house scaffolding construction capabilities have been expanded to match increased demand.

We’re very excited about the increase in the scope of our training programs as well. Torrent’s specialized PAC training is the best in the business and has ensured that we are constantly reaffirming our position as the undisputed leader in the Canadian PAC industry. Our new facility gives us the ability to train more workers and increase our capacity to serve the construction industry with the very highest level of service and professionalism.

As the construction industry accelerate, so too does the Torrent Group to ensure we meet the demands of today and tomorrow.

More wall. Every day.
